Hi love. If you missed worship on Sunday, you missed the most beautiful music from our youngest members, a gorgeous sermon from Brian McLaren and a Congregational Meeting in which we unveiled exciting re-building plans which we HOPE will be completed by March 31, 2025!!
We also announced that we are not renewing our lease with our friends at East End Temple. We are so grateful to Rabbi Josh and his community, but we’ve outgrown EET now and we need to stretch out a bit. Effective July 7, we will be sharing sacred space with Judson Memorial Church on the south end of Washington Square Park. Our worship and programming will need to be after theirs; we can’t load into their sanctuary until 2:00p SO our worship will need to be after 3:00p. We did a straw poll and a survey that indicate 3:00p is your preferred worship time for the afternoon.
Can you check out the survey here and give us more information, so we can plan what is best for most of us?
Our last Sunday at EET is Pride Sunday. We will worship at 9:30a so we can attend the Queer Liberation March.
And as you think about all that is happening at Middle and in the nation, know that our fiscal year ends June 30, 2024. Every dollar you give will help us finish strong, and raise the final $100,000 to hit our goal. You can donate here or reach out to Devon Mosley, our director of development at Dmosley@middlechurch.org for more ways to connect.
See you Sunday!
