Hello Middle Family, this upcoming Sunday is extra special—it's World Communion Sunday!
Imagine people of all faiths, from every corner of the globe, uniting in person and online to break bread together. Whether it's halal, pan, injera, challah, naan, tortilla, chapati, rice cakes, or more, we celebrate our diversity and stand together for peace and solidarity.
So this Sunday, following Rev. Natalie’s short video during the passing of the peace, we invite you to share your peace symbols with us to display during worship.
How to Participate:
Location & time: Join us this Sunday online for the passing of the peace during our hybrid 3 PM worship celebration. Click here to join. (Our Digiministers will provide a reminder in the chat on YouTube and Facebook when it’s time to get ready to get in the zoom room.)
What to do: Draw, write, or bring a symbol that represents peace to you. It could be something you create or perhaps something you already own that embodies peace and fierce love.
Open a separate browser: Remember to open zoom in a separate window, so that you don’t miss out on the rest of worship.
If you have any questions, email Zayn at zsilva@middlechurch.org
We can’t wait to see what you have to share!
See you Sunday.
